Richard Hauer

Friend, Guitar and Bass player on Alexandras album "As Good As It Gets"

Richard Hauer is working as a musician, guitar teacher, web designer, composer and a lot of other stuff where he's able to be creative.

He was born in Borås, Sweden 1978 and raised in the area of Göteborg, Sweden. Early in his life he realized that he wanted to play the guitar for the rest of his life and been doing that ever since. Richard went to some schools in Sweden to improve his skills. The list of educations became pretty long in the end. He started at Hvitfeldska high school of music in Göteborg, continued with Folkuniversitetets Jazz improvisation course, then Sundsgårdens kind of collage and finally did a Masters Degree in Jazz Teaching at Malmö academy of music.

Right after his studies he startet working as a musician in different bands and constallations around Europe and the US. His teaching education just had a break for a couple of years before he finally took it up again and started teaching part time.

Now he's playing with a couple of different bands both as steady member and freelance. In the spare time he is developing a solution for adapter cables as you can find in my menu named "Haudio". Computers always been a big part of his life and it would been devastating for him not to have one.
